Autoclavable Lids for Spawn Jars, Regular Mouth, 70mm

Autoclavable polypropylene spawn jar lids. These one piece lids are perfect for use in spawn production and are superior to metal canning lids in that they will not rust or warp. One 1/2 inch diameter holes should be drilled through each and a filter disc inserted underneath to allow contaminant-free air exchange. You may also use Poly fill and a smaller 1/4 inch hole. 70mm (regular canning jar mouth size) These work perfectly with our 70mm Synthetic Filter discs.

These are far superior to the plastic canning jar lids which are not recommended for processing. Optional 5/8" hole drilled in center for FREE. 1 lid.
